Rugby World Cup Semi-Final 2019
The Quarter-final is done and dusted and we’re can’t wait for the next stage. England, New Zealand, Wales and South Africa secured their spots in the semi-final. Australia started the game with hope to win on Saturday but England crushed the team 40-16. England have entered the semi-finals for the first time in 12 years. The All Blacks had forceful forwards and backs that made the quarter-final against Ireland spectacular. The game ended with Ireland losing 14-46.
Wales are also in the Rugby World Cup semi-final with a 20-19 victory against France on Sunday. This quarter-final was one of the most entertaining matches in the history of the competition. Wales had the second biggest comeback we have witnessed! Last in the semis is South Africa after knocking out Japan with a 26-3 win. Japan tried their best but South Africa’s performance was exceptional especially in the second half in Tokyo.
Semi-Final Teams
The semi-finals will see England go up against New Zealand and Wales will take on South Africa. England and New Zealand both impressed us in previous matches. For the upcoming game on the 26th of October 2019 (Saturday), All Blacks are the favourites at 1.80 to win the cup with England as third favourites at 6.00. New Zealand is said to win at 1.44 and England at 3.55. Wales are pinned as the underdogs that will defeat SA. Both teams performed well and deserve to be in the final. South Africa is at 4.40 to win the competition and Wales at 11.50.
