Australia vs. Sri Lanka 2nd T20 Match Highlights
Australia has made a historic home win after defeating Sri Lanka in its first series. The team made a 134 run on Sunday. This victory goes back to the 31st of October 2010. The game ended with an anticlimax and a wide from Wanindu Hasaranga gave the Australians a nine wicket win with 42 balls remaining.
Aussies had a grand bowling performance taking the end six wickets for 52. What an embarrassment for Sri Lanka to become the most bowled out team in the history of the T20 Series.
Australia vs. Sri Lanka
Ashton Agar and Adam Zampa who were spinners broke down Sri Lanka’s middle line and made two run outs. Billy Stanlake and Pat Cummins gave Aussies the upper hand with two wickets each. Pat Cummins ran out Lakshan Sandakan and that how the game was finished. Sri Lanka didn’t perform well and to make matters even worse Lakshan Sandakan attempted to copy Cummins but the ball was not in the right hand.
It is not the end of the series as Aussies still require 188 to close off the three-game series. The sprinklers came on in the second over of the game. Mark Howard was caught off guard by the sprinklers and said “you’ve only got one blog”. This was the latest odd scenario at the Gabba.
